1. Who we are

Enamel Economics is a free community for independent dental professionals. We operate the website at enameleconomics.com and a related Facebook group. References to "we," "us," or "our" refer to Enamel Economics.

2. Information we collect

When you sign up on our website, we collect:

• Your email address (required)
• Your response to the optional question about supply costs (if provided)
• The date and time of your signup
• Which form on the page you used to sign up

We do not collect your name, payment information, or any sensitive personal data through this website.

3. How we use your information

We use your email address to:

• Send you verified deals on dental supplies and equipment
• Share group purchasing opportunities and news relevant to independent dental practices
• Send occasional sponsored content from vetted vendors — these emails will always be clearly identified as sponsored
• Notify you of updates to the Enamel Economics community

We use optional feedback responses in aggregate (never individually identified) to understand what products and categories to prioritize for the group.

4. Sponsored content disclosure

Enamel Economics may receive compensation from vendors in exchange for featuring their products or deals in our emails. When this is the case, the email will be clearly labeled as sponsored or as a paid partnership. We only work with vendors whose products we believe are genuinely useful to independent dental practices.

5. We will never sell your data

We will never sell, rent, or trade your email address or any personal information to third parties. Period.

6. Email communications and unsubscribing

All emails we send comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. Every email we send includes:

• A clear identification of who sent it
• A working unsubscribe link
• Our mailing address

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send. Once you unsubscribe, we will not send you further commercial emails.

7. Data storage and security

Your signup information is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore), a Google Cloud product. Data is stored in the United States. We use industry-standard security practices and Firebase's built-in access controls to protect your information.

8. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as you are subscribed to our communications. If you unsubscribe or request deletion of your data, we will remove your information from our active mailing list within 10 business days. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us at the address below.

9. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Google Firebase — data storage and hosting (Firebase Privacy Policy)
• Email delivery platform — for sending emails (we will update this policy when an email platform is added)

10. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Opt out of commercial emails at any time
